The Anti-Racism Workshop for Health Professionals
A flagship BLKHLTH training that equips health professionals to confront racism, reshape practice, and build equity into every layer of care.
We help teams of health professionals in universities and other institutions uncover the trauma of racism and its impact on health outcomes, including:
Understanding racism, racialized health disparities, and their social, historical, and political causes
Recognizing racism as a fundamental cause of health disparities and exploring the pathways that connect racism to poor health outcomes
Exploring the core constructs of Critical Race Theory (CRT)
Applying principles of CRT and antiracism to health research and practice in order to learn ways we can actively mitigate the impact of racism on health outcomes
