BLKHLTH Conversations: Multiple Myeloma

Community voices, clinical truths, and a call to action

In partnership with Johnson & Johnson’s That’s My Word® campaign, we gathered in Atlanta for BLKHLTH Conversations: Multiple Myeloma — an honest, community-centered dialogue about a rare blood cancer that disproportionately impacts Black communities.

Together with patients, care partners, advocates, and a local oncologist, we created space for learning, sharing lived experiences, and building awareness. Through powerful stories and practical education, the conversation highlighted the barriers Black people face in accessing care and the importance of advocacy, early detection, and community support.

Family Portraits 🫶🏾

We created space for more than dialogue—we invited families to step in front of the camera. These portraits remind us that health justice is about the people and families we fight for every day.
