Juneteenth Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Juneteenth celebration and to every donor who helped us turn the volume up on the next 10 years of BLKHLTH.

Hosted in collaboration with Detty South, the night brought our community together through good music, Black joy, and a celebration of the African diaspora. We also celebrated South Africa’s participation in the World Cup and connected with guests about BLKHLTH’s global health equity work, from Atlanta to Johannesburg.

Throughout the night, we invited members of our BLKHLTH family to share songs that remind them of Black liberation, lift their spirits, and reflect what Juneteenth means to them.

Listen to their selections and more on our Volume Up Spotify playlist. Add your song to the playlist by becoming a monthly donor. 🎧 Didn’t get a chance to donate at the event? You can still support BLKHLTH and help us continue creating programs, events, and resources that advance health equity in Black communities.
