To encourage intra-community dialogue, storytelling, knowledge sharing, and strategizing for solutions, we will host our signature BLKHLTH Conversations event focused on Mental Health in Black Entrepreneurs. The goals of this event are:

  • Raise awareness and increase knowledge on the impact of racism on mental health outcomes for Black people

  • Build community among Black entrepreneurs and mental health professionals in South Africa

  • Brainstorm and discuss culturally-responsive interventions for the protection of Black entrepreneurs’ mental health

This 2.5 hour-long event is provided for free to attendees. The target audience includes Black entrepreneurs in any field, Black mental health professionals and advocates, and community members with a strong interest in this topic.

The event will be held at a venue in Kyalami. The exact location will be shared with confirmed attendees.
