BLKHLTH Ask a Doctor: Racism and Colorectal Cancer

Please join us on Tuesday, May 18th from 7:00 - 8:30pm EST for a virtual event on the impact of racism on colorectal cancer inequities that Black Americans face.

This will be the first of a series of health education events as part of the BLKHLTH x Cottonelle #GoodDownThere Campaign. This initial event will provide a 101 overview of colorectal cancer symptoms, risk factors, and how to get screened. We will also hear personal stories about how racism creates barriers to colorectal cancer prevention and treatment for Black people. The event will feature a moderated discussion with special guests Dr. Pascale White and advocate Bechir Sylvain, as well as several opportunities for interaction with event attendees.
