Conversations on Creativity and Health

Ongoing systemic injustices rooted in apartheid and race-based exclusionary practices cause Black South Africans to experience high rates of poor health and disease.

Young Black creatives and entrepreneurs are at an increased risk for negative health outcomes due to economic insecurity, low educational attainment, and lack of medical aid.

Conversations on Creativity and Health

Through a conversational panel, interactive group activity, and on-site mobile clinic, this event aims to connect Black creatives & entrepreneurs with trusted healthcare experts and relatable industry peers to build community and increase access to health-promoting resources.

This event is presented in partnership with South Africa-based nonprofit Creative Nestlings.
